The last Pharaoh Ousted:The Egyptian people remove from power Hosni Mubarak

Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak
Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak finally stepped down after the peoples power proved far to greater than his 30 year grip on power. The military is currently  in charge of the affairs of the country but the Egyptian people are more in control of their country than they have ever been.the riots in Egypt were inspired by similar events in Tunisia which saw them remove their president from power sparking a revolution throughout the Arab world in which autocratic, royal family rule was seen as the norm but it seems that the culture will soon come to a history making halt.Protesters in Egypt, as were their counter parts in Tunisia, were complaining about the rampant corruption in the country, increased poverty, unemployment and autocratic rule.

Protesting for his rights
The people had had enough of his rule and the riots had raged on from January 25,2011 and will forever be etched in the halls of history as the protests that brought down a dictator jokingly known as Egypt's lasts pharaoh.the frustrations of a nation caused there to be such great unity of purpose that there have been 2 revolutions in less than  as pan of 2 months into the new year.2011 seems to be the year of 'true' change as there are still more countries in similar positions as were Tunisia and Egypt.
Protester's rage
Spirit of change
This should serve as a lesson to world leaders that when people get fed  up they will not fail to act despite what threats and illegal means they try to stop THE PEOPLE from having their voices heard and their views aired. There were 300 hundred deaths in Egypt but that did not stop Egyptian protesters from pushing on with their demands for change. On this day,Friday 11th February 2011,history was made by the Egyptian people and their victory will resonate all over Africa that the time for change is now,all we have to do is wait and see who gets fed up next.
